Graduation Day. " It's the end of a chapter but the start of another " (( Disclaimer : this blogpost is gonna be long ))

It has definitely been one hell of a ride. I still remembered how I ended up in this school. It was just like yesterday. In the blink of an eye, we graduated. Unlike in primary schools , this time all of us had grown and most importantly, we grew together. This stage of life I must say, has so far been one of the most memorable.

I experienced a lot with so many special people in my life that I will never forget. Mr Zhuo, Mr Wong, Ms Chan, Mr Yan... and the friends that accompanied me throughout my NY journey! These people are those who helped shaped me into the person I am today. Graduation Day was an emotional for us all, as everyone looked back on what they did, thinking, it's the end. Wow. It was the end of my entire 2 years in Nanyang JC. I'm so thankful for everyone who has been there when I'm growing up, maturing and blossoming from a caterpillar to a beautiful butterfly.

Here are some photos I took with the special people in my life! 😊

Thank you to this lovely bunch of girls ❤️! Thanks for being there throughout this whole 2 years. There are so many memories I share with you all. And it's something I will keep it in my heart.

Some of our individual pictures!

Liu Chen

Next is my class clique (kind of)
They have been with me for 2 years or so, I must say they make up a very big part in my JC school life. I'm just glad that I have their company during my hardest time of my JC school life. Anytime I meet problems with schoolwork, or even just complaining about certain people, they always here (I may sound mushy Idk) but I really feel quite attached to them. Thanks for being with me. This 2 years have been great with you all, I can't imagine how I'll pull through this without you guys.

Some other photos we took that I really love! Shows how happy I was! Thanks for everything. (Sounds mushyyy)

Some Boomerangs we took!

Moving on... would be CT1830. Although we may not get along super well, not very bonded, I'm still thankful for all the times we spent together. We studied hard together, actually went through boring GP lessons, cried together once after a HTH talk during CT period when Mr Zhuo even off the classroom lights to get the mood and even celebrated Mr Zhuo birthday together.

CT1830

Next up would be Sarah and Valene. I can't express how thankful I am for them. They have stick through with me since the first day of my NY journey. They celebrated my birthday with me, friendship day, study sessions and the list goes on and on... Thanks y'all!
Sarah & Valene

FINALLY I'M REACHING THE END SOON!

Next would be Darren! I'm extremely grateful for him tbh though I don't tell him and I always xian qi him lol. I'm so sorry. He's really a nice guy. He always acknowledge my presence. I will always remember the time when we were first assigned to our class and I got literally no friends (okay maybe 1) but = no friends, and he actually came forward to me and initiated to eat with me during lunch. Such a small and nice gesture but I will always remember it because it's such small actions that really touch my heart.

This is the day and the photo that I took of him when I was all alone and he came forward to accompany me.

We recreated the photo we took on orientation'18!

I'm grateful we actually crossed paths.

Last but not least would definitely be Huien and Ziqing. We came a long way together. From BPGHS and to NYJC. We would always go to school every morning together without fail. Now cannot already because we have graduated 😢. I remember I'm always the one waiting for y'all at Bishan MRT station 🙄 and I always nothing to do while waiting then I just use my phone and scroll Instagram.

Huien & Ziqing

Of course, life had not ended, in fact it has just begun for me. Although I may be sad that this marks the end of my journey in NYJC, I'm just grateful for the friends I have gotten and memories I've forged. I don't regret being in NYJC at all.

With all that said, it's time to study hard for A levels sadly. Good luck to everyone! Thanks for reading y'all!

This is gonna be a short post to mark down another memory I made in Nanyang and to appreciate a bunch in my Nanyang journey!
My journey in Nanyang Chinese Orchestra has finally come to an end!

I would say it's no easy journey being in Nanyang CO and I didn't really enjoyed myself in Nanyang CO, partly because of Ding conductor, some people in CO, the high standards & expectations of Nanyang CO and the list goes on and on... but this bunch made it so much better and more bearable.

Some behind the scenes where when we wanted to have a photo taken where everyone would stack above 1 another like a pyramid. And obviously, we failed badly. 😅

OH! And forgot to mention, during the photo-taking session, the black rubber balls from the synthetic grass stuck to our arms, elbows, knees AND EVEN went into our shoes! It's so annoying anjahbdchjawicw!

We practiced and improved together as a section so as to prove Ding conductor wrong that we are the worst section in the orchestra. We gossiped together as a section about the different people in CO as well as in school HAHA SHHH 🤐

Some memorable memories I had with this bunch would be talking & gossiping with one another at night during CO camp'19, my 18th birthday surprise, rushing back to school on the day of CO camp'19 because the camp starts at 7pm AND realising the turnstile gate closes at 5pm and we couldn't enter. SO... we had to run to another gate to enter the school. And me being unfit... WELL YOU KNOW...it's tough! In the end, we are still late but OH WELLS.

Thanks y'all for all the wonderful memories and times spent together with me in Nanyang! I was truly happy.

That's all for NYCO ROD'19! This is my another #WHYNY!

Thanks y'all for reading till the end! Till next time!

It's the 2nd Friendship Day in Nanyang! And of course, It's another wonderful and awesome one!
This Friendship day'19 would never be another unforgettable memory of mine without all of them.

What's different from Friendship Day'18 was that this time, there has been an added bunch! First... introducing Chemical Disposal Site! (( That's what we name ourselves! HAHA )) This bunch consist of Penny, Annabel, Wan Xin, Jing Xuan, Kevin & Albert! They helped me a lot in class and in my studies although I am still shit. They stuck by my side throughout my Nanyang journey and this is my another #WHYNY. Thanks y'all!

Some photos we took at the Nanyang iconic seashell wall again! So typical yet we still do it anyway LMAO!

The girls! 👩

Chemical Disposable Site!

Another bunch would definitely be Sarah and Valene!

It's the 2nd year we are spending Friendship Day together!

We remake and took with the exact same pose from the 2018 version! 👇🏻

And of course, not forgetting the best of all...

And since Cheryl is in NJ and it's impossible for her to join us... We came up with a brilliant idea again! Cropping her in our photos!

6 years and still counting! Looking forward to more wonderful memories spent with all of you! That's all for Friendship Day'19!

Thanks y'all for reading!

2018 is coming to an end and I would like to just sum up the year! It has been a roller-coaster ride ever since I entered Nanyang Junior College. Everything was so new to me. From classroom-based lessons in Secondary school to lecture-tutorial based in JC. From easy Mathematics to some alien language Mathematics (( All the f(x) shit & vectors & curve sketching & differentiation & integration & the list goes on and on... )). From an A1 Physics genius to a S in Physics.
But I would say, 2018 was a fulfilling one! It wasn't just filled with studies but also many memories made throughout my 2018 NY journey AND I really enjoyed every moment.

2018 started with the 1st unforgettable memory that I would always hold close to my heart. ORIENTATION'18

This is the 1st bunch of people I made the moment I step into Nanyang!

MOVING ON! Nanyang organised Friendship Day'18 and the iconic seashell wall had a photo-booth specially decorated for this event. Yehti 3 came together to have a group photo taken and also BPNY!

Yehti 3
BYNY

It was a short event but it made a lasting memory in part of my NY journey!

Next was... FINALLY meeting up with Isabel! It has been a long time ever since I saw her! We went to have lunch at some ulu place where I remember walking for quite long to reach that place LMAO. And it rained when we were leaving wth. How unlucky can we get.

Just look at all the good food!

All the food was so atas and delicious!

Moving on was my 17th birthday! I had many surprises which I didn't expect at all!
First up! Was by Madeline! She bought me really pretty roses and babybreath!

Next was... Yehti 3! Really didn't expect this at all. They actually find time to celebrate my birthday with me during our common break!

And lastly...  was Cheryl, Huien & Ziqing! We celebrated at I Light'18!

What was most memorable was wearing our onesies and walking along Marina Bay!

Thanks y'all for celebrating my 17th birthday with me! Am really grateful and being a constant in my life.

Next up would be Epiphany'18!

Following up would be NYCO ROD'18! We are finally the senior and junior HAHA!

Moving on! This is the 1st event I participated in Nanyang with some of my classmates. VERTICAL CHALLENGE! I climbed like don't know how many flight of stairs and it was so FREAKING tiring. I almost died. But oh well! It was tiring but memorable! Tbh, I wouldn't participate in it again next year lol.

*UPDATE* I really didn't participate in 2019 LMAO!*

Next would be going on cafe hopping with my favourite bunch! It has been a long time ever since I went on cafe hopping! We went to many different ice cream waffle shops and even had Intsagram Live Mukbang HAHA!

Just look at how sweetly looking the ice cream waffle is!

This was no special event but just some bunch that supported me in 1830 throughout my 2018 in NY.

AND LASTLY, this has been an intense PW year and I'm finally done with it! Thanks for sticking by! We survived PW! Let's all get A! Let's get it NY 158!

*UPDATE* WE ALL GOT A!

So this sums up my 2018 and thanks y'all for reading this super duper long post! Truly a life-changing year, new school, new friends, new experiences. I am blessed to enjoy everything I have. I cant wait what's coming for me in 2019! Till next time!
